بیست و ششمین وبینار شاخه فیزیک محاسباتی - دوازدهم مهر (۱۴۰۲/۰۶/۲۱)

بیست و ششمین وبینار شاخه فیزیک محاسباتی انجمن فیزیک ایران به یک سخنرانی تخصصی اختصاص خواهد داشت. دکتر سید محمدصادق موحد از دانشکده فیزیک، دانشگاه شهید بهشتی سخنرانی خود را با عنوان «استنباط‌های کیهان‌شناسی از طریق توپولوژی محاسباتی و معیارهای هندسی» در روز چهارشنبه دوازدهم مهر ساعت هجده به سمع و نظر علاقمندان خواهند رساند.

Application of the intersection of algebraic topology and computational geometry, especially in Cosmology has gained considerable attention. Indeed, it provides a proper pipeline to elucidate and clarify any high-dimensional data using low-dimensional algebraic representations. Cosmological and astrophysical fields in 1, 2, and 3 dimensions such as CMB, Gravitational wave (GW), and Large-scale structures (LSS) are some appropriate cases to implement the topological- and geometrical-based analysis. In this talk, I will give a brief review of the different categories of geometrical and topological measures, then I will focus on the data modeling including theory- and data-based approaches. To make more sense, I will also show some of our results incorporating the mentioned criteria for the Planck CMB map, Stochastic Gravitational wave background (SGWB), and red-shift space, and corresponding distortion (RSD). The take-home message of my general talk is that non-parametric evaluation in the context of data modeling would open a promising window to break current degeneracies and put pristine observational constraints on cosmological-free parameters.
