OWSD's partner organization TWAS, the World Academy of Sciences, in collaboration with SISSA and Italy's Lincei Academy, has launched a new programme for three-month training and cooperation visits of young scientists, aged 40 or less, from Least Developed Countries to laboratories located in Trieste, Italy.

Research proposals will be accepted in the fields of physics, neuroscience, mathematics, and COVID-related projects. Particular attention will be given to research projects that fall under the umbrella of sustainability science. Eligible applicants need to hold an MSc or higher degree.

Women scientists are especially encouraged to apply.
