سیامین وبینار شاخه فیزیک محاسباتی انجمن فیزیک ایران به یک سخنرانی تخصصی اختصاص خواهد داشت. دکتر Seyyed Mir Abolhassan Vaezi از Department of Physics, Sharif University of Technology سخنرانی خود را با عنوان « Innovative Approaches for Solving Quantum Many-Body Problems » در روز چهارشنبه دوم اسفند ساعت هجده به سمع و نظر علاقمندان خواهند رساند.
در چکیده این سخنرانی آمده است:
The exact solution to interacting quantum problems is, in general, an exponentially hard task due to the exponential growth of the Hilbert space with the system size. Despite decades of research, grasping a comprehensive understanding of strongly correlated systems remains elusive, even for the simplest models like the Hubbard model. Exact solutions are attainable only for specific and highly restricted categories of models. Notably, the quantum Monte Carlo method, which evaluates path integrals stochastically, stands as an exact and unbiased numerical technique, provided the notorious sign problem is circumvented. Furthermore, quantum entanglement based approaches such as matrix product states still suffer from the dimensionality curse in quasi-2D systems and beyond. In this presentation, I will introduce a few recently proposed novel algorithms that can provide insights into the exact solutions of quantum many-body problems.
